FAQS

DO YOU TREAT YOUR ROOF TRUSSES?
Our trusses are made using southern yellow pine or spruce, pine, and fir. Although it can withstand weathering for several months when exposed to the outdoors, the lumber is not pressure-treated or fire-treated.

HOW FAR CAN YOU CLEAR SPAN A FLOOR TRUSS?
The allowable span of a floor truss largely depends on the depth of the floor truss. The deeper the truss, the further it can span without support. We can build floor trusses up to 40 feet long. However, we don’t recommend having a clear span over 32 feet. Having a longer span can cause the floor to have extra “bounce.”

WHAT’S THE LONGEST-SPAN ROOF TRUSS YOU CAN MAKE?
We can make trusses spanning up to 100 feet long. If this is something you are looking for, something else to consider is making sure the job site is accessible for such a large load.

DO YOU SELL DIRECTLY?
We are a wholesale company, so we do not sell components retail. If you would like to become a dealer, please contact us, and we will work with you through the process. If you are not a dealer but are looking to buy trusses, please visit our Find A Dealer tab and select a dealer near you.

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM A CUSTOMER BEFORE A PROJECT CAN BEGIN?
Once you give the details of your project to your salesman at one of our dealer locations, the salesman will contact us to request a truss quote for the project. Once you have reviewed the package, the P.O., we will send an order confirmation and delivery date to the salesman to relay the information to you.
